MySQL 9.7 is now available

We are excited to announce the release of MySQL 9.7 on Aptible. This is MySQL’s latest LTS release, following MySQL 8.4. MySQL 9.7 introduces a number of updates and optimizations — Oracle highlights a few of the most impactful changes in a blog post here, but you can read about the changes in full detail on MySQL’s What is New page. Aptible will support provisioning new MySQL 9.7 databases and upgrades from 8.4 to 9.7. If you are interested in upgrading or have questions about MySQL 9.7, please contact Aptible Support.

Improvements to resource details

We refreshed the resource details (Stack, Environment, App, Service, Database, and Endpoints) to provide a more consistent, easier-to-read layout.

Other changes/fixes

• The legacy dashboard is officially deprecated

• If a user has an IP allowlist set, SSO login must be completed from an allowed IP

• Improvements to the Activity loading times in the UI
