# aptible apps:rename

This command renames [App](/core-concepts/apps/overview) handles. For the change to take effect, the App must be restarted.

# Synopsis

Usage:
  aptible apps:rename OLD_HANDLE NEW_HANDLE [--environment ENVIRONMENT_HANDLE]

Options:
  --env, [--environment=ENVIRONMENT]
```
